Deep water classes at Freyberg and Kilbirnie pool

AQUAZONE deep water classes are open to confident swimmers who can already swim the four strokes. The general age is 9 to 13 years old. Sessions are 45 minutes and run every Mondays between 3:30pm and 6pm at Kilbirnie pool or on Saturdays between 10:30am and 3pm at Freyberg pool.

We focus on technique improvement and development in all strokes as well as turns and dives.

The sessions help to build up endurance, strength and are suitable for swimmers who want to stay fit and improve their techniques. This is also an excellent transition to competitive squads.

To join the classes, swimmers should be able to comfortably swim 4 lengths Freestyle & Backstroke and 1 length Butterfly & Breaststroke in a 25 metres pool (or longer) and/or have completed the Aquazone progression poster at Miramar or Newtown pool.

45 minutes class - Maximum of 10 children per class
Cost: $180 for a 10 week school term
